Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was the seventh and last book written by J.K. Rowling. The film was released in November of 2010. The book was so long that it was divided into two different films. The last one is supposed to be released next June 2011.
In the first part, Harry, Hermione and Ron did not go to school this time. They had to find different Horcruxes, as Lord Voldemord divided his soul into different pieces and hid them into the Horcruxes. In order to destroy Voldemort, the three main characters had to find them.
During the film, the three magicians travelled all around the world trying not to be found by Voldemort or his supporters as they become so many that the government became of his property.
The first Horcrux that they found was a necklace that Umbridge was always wearing. She was one of Voldemort’s main supporters and she worked in the government. In order to get it, the three magicians changed their physical appearance and got into the building. They went into Umbridge’s department and attacked her. When they took the necklace, they run away and hid in a forest.
Once they had the Horcrux, they had to destroy it but they did not know the way to do it, as it was not easy to do. Finally, Hermione found a way to destroy it, using a magic sword that only appears in special occasions. While searching for the sword, the one holding the necklace was changing his personality becoming evil, as that piece of soul could think by itself and it did not want to be destroyed.
The trio continually encountered a strange symbol, which an eccentric wizard named Xenophilius Lovegood (father of Luna) told them represented the mythical Deathly Hallows. The Hallows were revealed to be three sacred objects: the Resurrection Stone, a stone with the power to summon the dead to the living world; the Elder Wand, an unbeatable wand; and an infallible Invisibility Cloak. Harry learned that Voldemort was seeking the Elder Wand, but was unaware of the Hallows and their significance. The trio determined that finding Voldemort's Horcruxes was more important than procuring the Hallows.
Finally, Harry found the sword in the middle of a river and with Ron’s help, could take it. Once with it, Ron was the chosen one for destroying the Horcrux with a lot of effort, as it showed Ron’s fears trying to avoid being destroyed.
At the end, there was a problem, as some bounty hunters found them and took them to Voldemort’s castle. They were helped out by Dobby who was a friend of Harry and they run away, but Dobby died helping them.
The last scene showed how Voldemort got the Elder Wand by entering to Dumbledore’s tomb because he was buried with it.
The film ended there, and the end of the series will be soon.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth novel. It was written on 2003.
Because Voldemort had reappeared, Dumbledore re-activated the Order of the Phoenix, which was a secret society that wanted to fight against Voldemort and the Death Eaters. Harry had told the Ministry of Magic about the return of Voldemort but he didn’t believe him and began a campaign against Harry and Dumbledore that said that they were lying.
The Ministry appointed Dolores Umbridge as the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. She refused to teach the students how to protect themselves because she said that there wasn’t any danger because Voldemort hadn’t returned.
Ron and Hermione persuaded Harry to form a secret study group and to teach his classmates to defend themselves from an attack. Harry also discovered that there was an strange connection between him and Voldemort which allowed Harry to see some of Voldemort’s actions.
One day Harry saw how Voldemort was torturing Sirius Black so Harry, Ron, Hermione and some other classmates went to the place where Harry had seen Voldemort: in the Ministry. There, they didn’t see Voldemort or Sirius but they got a prophecy whick talks about Harry and Voldemort. Everything had been a trap  and the Death Eaters appeared there to take the prophecy off Harry. The teenagers started fighting against them and the members of the Order of the Phoenix appeared there to help them. During the battle the prophecy was broken and Bellatrix Lestrange killed Sirius.
At the end, Voldemort appeared at the Ministry and tried to kill Harry but Dumbledore protected him. Most Death Eaters were captured and the returned of Voldemort was confirmed to the Magic World.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

On the fourth novel, the director, Albus Dumbledore, announced that the Triwizard Tournament would be hosted in Hogwarts. One student from each magical school would be chosen by the Goblet of Fire. The champions chosen by the goblet were Fleur Delacour from Beauxbatons, Viktor Krum of Durmstrang, and Cedric Diggory of Hogwarts. Mysteriously, Harry is also chosen, even though he did not submit his name.
In the first of the three tasks of the Triwizard Tournament the champions should collect a gold egg which was guarded by a dragon. Harry was helped by professor Moody and Hagrid so he could collect the egg. The second task consisted on saving from the lake a person who was the most important one for them. Harry finished last because he rescued Ron and Gabrielle because Fleur didn’t come to save her, so finally, Harry gained some points for 'moral fibre'.
The third and final tournament task involved navigating a labyrinth filled with magical obstacles. Harry and Cedric touched the Goblet of Fire at the same time and  it turned out to be a portkey that transported the to a graveyard. There, Pettigrew and a deformed Voldemort were waiting for Harry. Pettigrew killed Cedric and tied Harry to Riddle tombstone. He then used a bone from Voldemort's father's grave, some of Harry's blood, and his own cut-off hand in a magical ritual that restored Lord Voldemort to a new body.
Voldemort revealed that a servant in Hogwarts had helped him to make Harry participate on the Tournament, to win it and to go to the graveyard. Them Harry tried to desarm Voldemort at the same time that he threw the Killing Curse to Harry. Since the wands were twins, the two spells met and interlocked, causing a bond between the wands that displays the "echoes" of Voldemort's most recent victims, including Frank Bryce, Cedric, Bertha Jorkins, James Potter, and Lily Potter. The echoes provided protection to Harry, allowing him to escape with Cedric's body and left Voldemort behind in a rage.
Harry, with Cedric’s body, returned to Hogwarts. There, professor Moody took him with him and revealed that he was Voldemort’s servant. Dumbledore, McGonagall and Snape discovered Moody and stopped him. They made Moody drink Veritaserum so they discovered that he wasn’t Moody, he actually was Barty Crouch Jr who was smuggled out of Azkaban and was using a Polyjuice Potion to impersonate the real Alastor Moody.
Finally, Harry and Dumbledore tried to convince the Minister of Magic about the returned of Voldemort but he didn’t believe them.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, was the third of the seven books written by J.K. Rowling. The film was released in 2004 and it got almost eight hundred million dollars during the year.
Harry and his friends Ron and Hermione, went to Howarts for their third school year as magicians. That year there was a new danger out of the school. A magician called Sirius Black, run out of jail and he was willing to kill Harry as he was one of Volvemort’s servant. This was the reason why the dementors, who are a kind of dangerous magic police, were always guarding the school’s walls.
One day, Ron discovered that his rat, Scabbers, had disappeared and he thought that Hermione’s cat had eaten it but Ron, Hermione and Harry saw Sacabbers when they were visiting Hagrid. On their way back to the castle, Ron was attacked by a black dog which took him inside the
Whomping Willow. Harry and Hermione followed them and they discovered that the dog was the animagus Sirius Black. When Harry was about to attack Black, proffesor Lupin arrived and stopped him. Lupin explained that he was a werewolf and that he, Black, Pettigrew, and James Potter (Harry's father) were great friends and to make his transformations more enjoyable they became Aminagi. They remained friends after growing up, and when they learned Voldemort was after the Potters, Black became their Secret-Keeper. However, Black then revealed that he had secretly switched this duty with Pettigrew in order to serve as a decoy. Black stated Pettigrew was the betrayer and, rather than being murdered by Black, is actually Scabbers.
Harry thought that the best thing they could do was to take Pettigrew to the school and to tell everyone the real history so Black’s name would be cleaned. However, when they were going to the castle, the full moon appears and Lupin transformed in a werewolf and started attacking Harry so Black transformed in a big black dog and defended Harry while Pettigrew transformed in a rat and escaped. A strange howl alerted Lupin and lured him away from Harry. Harry finded an unconscious Sirius lying by a pond, where Dementors suddenly descended on the pair and nearly killed them. They are saved at the last minute by a strange figure using the Patronus Charm, which Harry believed to be his father.
Harry awaked in the castle and learned that Sirius had been captured so to help him Harry and Hermione used a Time-Turner to travel back in time and prevent his capture. They re-watched the scenes of the night and discovered that the one who had made the Patronus was actually Harry. They rescued Sirius and he flew away with Buckbeak.
